Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the StayWise Adminapplication and services ("StayWise", "we"), operated by Guilherme Pinzegher Ramos (an individual). Full identification details (tax ID and address) can be requested via the support email. By creating an account or using StayWise Admin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Description of the service
StayWise Admin is a management platform for businesses that provide pet boarding and care services (pet sitting, day care, walks and related services). It lets you manage bookings, customers, pets, scheduling, availability, financial records and the business configuration. StayWise does not process payments from end customers; amounts received from pet owners are recorded as off-platform receipts.
2. Eligibility and account
The service is intended for professional use by people aged 18 or older, on behalf of a business. You agree to provide truthful, up-to-date information and are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or access. Access is via email/password or social login (Google and Apple), with optional multi-factor authentication.
3. Subscriptions, payments and renewal
Certain features require a paid subscription, offered in plans and cycles (monthly, quarterly or annual). Subscriptions are in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple ID.
- The price and duration of each plan are shown on the purchase screen before confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Management and cancellation are done in your App Store account settings. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds follow Apple App Store policies; we do not control or process refunds directly.
4. Free trial
We may offer a free trial. At the end of the trial, access to paid features requires an active subscription. Trial details and duration are shown at the time of the offer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws;
- attempt to access areas, data or accounts without authorization, or bypass security mechanisms;
- interfere with the operation of the service, overload it, or reverse engineer it, except where permitted by law;
- enter third-party data without an adequate legal basis or consent, where required.
- upload, publish or store third-party photos, text, documents or other content without having the necessary rights, authorizations or permissions.
6. Customer and pet data (you as controller)
When you use StayWise to register and manage your customers' and their pets' data, you act as the controller of that data and StayWise acts as a processor, handling it according to your instructions and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a legal basis for this processing and for responding to data subjects' requests where applicable.
7. Intellectual property
StayWise Admin, its brand, software and content are protected by intellectual property rights and remain owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application under these Terms. The data you enter remains yours.
When you upload, enter or publish data, photos, text, documents or other content in StayWise, you represent that you have all rights, consents and permissions necessary for that use. You retain ownership of that content, but grant StayWise a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for as long as necessary, to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit and process that content solely to operate, protect, improve and provide the service.
8. Availability, support and disclaimers
We strive to keep the service available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, with notice where reasonable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StayWise will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss. Except where the law does not allow limitation, StayWise's total liability in any case is limited to the subscription fees actually paid by you in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.
10. Termination and account deletion
You may close your account at any time within the application (Settings → Profile → "Delete my account"). The account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is anonymized after a 15-day grace period, as described in the Privacy Policy. Records the law requires us to retain (for example, tax records) may be kept for the legal period. We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Continued use after the new version takes effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the district of Joinville/SC are elected, without prejudice to the rights of consumers residing in the European Union and to applicable data protection rules (LGPD and GDPR).
13. Security and data protection
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect the data processed in the service, including encryption in transit and at rest, password hashing, encryption of sensitive fields, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control and audit logs. The processing of personal data, legal bases, retention and your rights are detailed in the Privacy Policy.
In short: we keep account data while the account is active; upon a deletion request, the account is deactivated immediately and personal data anonymized after 15 days; records the law requires us to keep (for example, tax records) may be retained for the legal period. You can export your data from the app at any time.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
We encourage amicable resolution. Complaints can be sent to suporte@staywise.pet. Consumers residing in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
